Actor in photo: Jia Lin Chen We’re delighted to announce that our short film ‘Melodia’ is a nominee in the 2024 Cannes Film Awards. The categories are Independent Short Film and Super Short Film (under ten minutes).  Cannes Film Awards juries feature collaborations with experts in the field of European film art. Projects in the festival have received distribution on Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime. The festival, not affiliated with the Festival de Cannes, aims to present independent films in a world-class locale for cinema. Congratulations to our cast and crew. We’re delighted to announce that Melodia: a short film in rondo form is an official selection of the 38th Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. The Taiwan film will be screened on November 8 Wednesday 13:30 at the Gateway Cinema as part of a full program entitled East .  FLIFF, slated to run from November 3rd through 12th, screens over 200 films in Fort Lauderdale, Saint Augustine and the Bahamas. Venues include the storied Gateway Cinema, the historic Savor Cinema, and the Cinema Paradiso on Hollywood Beach. Hard Rock Live hosts Opening Night. Melodia , filmed entirely in Taiwan, stars Yi-An Chen with Aaron Don Don, Dora Lo, Anna Tian, Manav Mehta, Hank Yu, and Jia Lin Chen. Laticia Fan is director of photography. Chung Hua Weng performs music by Ludwig van Beethoven. The film was written and directed by A T Beaune.
